Abstract

The structure of the reversible reclining chair is made of two tubes (30, 31) to which is attached a length of fabric which supports the user lying either on the back or on the stomach and whose ends are fitted into the curved members (32) of two identical supports (33, 34) which are inversely mounted and are slightly inclined to allow stacking; the user lies on his back on one side of the structure or, when it is turned over, face downwards on the other side.

Description

 The invention relates to a chaise-longue of characteristic shape allowing several uses in the best comfort.

This chaise-longue can be produced in various types of rigid structure (plastic, reinforced plastic, metal tubing, etc?
This rigid structure, (solid or hollow, realisuble in one or more assimilable elements or blocks>, possibly combined with flexible or spongy materials, for surface coating, such as rubber, rubber-foam, plastic, plastic-foam, canvas, down, air mattress, etc ... is essentially characterized by its particular shape which brings many avantaoes while allowing a double-sided use of the chaise-longue.

This new reversible lounge chair allows:
- to be able to lie down on the back, with callage of the feet while having a headrest,
- to be able to lie on your stomach with the great advantage of resting your arms folded in the excavation formed by the reverse protuberence of 1 part "headrest" in the opposite position, which allows, for example, without fatigue arms, reading a book, using a pair of binoculars, searching for stations on a radio or television set, to allow use, (similar to the previous ones), for children in this case , the small protuberance, reserved for the callage of the feet of the adult, becoming the head rest of the child in recto position, and the arm rest of this one in verso.

 The appended figures below and their descriptions will allow a better understanding of the invention, the advantages which arise from this and from its various variants.

Description of the figures:
Figure 1 a Plate I shows, in section, a reversible chaise-longue, according to the invention, in a first variant. You can see in this figure that the excavation (1) corresponds to the backrest of the user, lying on the back, the chaise longue being in the "front" position.

We also note that the excavation (2>, smaller than the excavation (1), serves as protuberance of callage for the feet of said user.

 Figure t b Plate I shows, also in section, the same reversible chaise-longue as for the previous figure, left upside down in 55 "back" position. A remark on this figure that the user, lying on his stomach, positions his folded arms in the excavation (1) provided for this purpose for this position of the chaise-longue. Note also that the excavation (2) allows the user to position his feet comfortably.

 Figure 2 Plate I shows the reversible chaise-longue in the same version as the previous figures but in perspective view in order to better observe its general shape.

 Figure 3 a Plate It shows, in section view, another version according to the invention in which the reversible chaise-longue is produced using tubing, solid or hollow, welded or connected, forming a support for the general structure, itself possibly formed using tubing, allowing, as for the previous variant the reversibility and the best comfort for the user, in the two positions front and back. It is noted in this figure, the same for the following ones, that the excavation (2) is not represented, which does not prevent its vents from being effectively present in the construction.

 Figure 3b Plate II shows the back position corresponding to the previous figure, position in which we note the slope raising the legs of the user, which generally represents additional comfort for the user.

 Figure 4 Plate II, in its representations a and b represents, in perspective, (but without the representation of the user \, the same version, front and back as Figures 3 a and 3 b * in order to better observe the structure general of the reversible chaise-longue according to the present invention.

 In the versions represented in FIGS. 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, the chaise longue is supported by 2 vertical lateral frames in angular or similar rect shape situated respectively on either side of it and produced in solid or hollow tubulars soldered or connected.

 In a variant, the plane of the chaise longue or elongates the user retains the form comprising excavation or protuberance which characterizes it but is produced, also with a tubular peripheral belt on which a canvas is stretched.

 The use of this lounge chair applies to all uses and in particular to the medical and surgical sectors.
