Abstract

Hollow profiled section which is flexible on the front for all types of profiled conveyor belt. The invention relates to a type of profiled section which permits simple and rapid fastening onto all types of profiled conveyor belts via mechanical attachments, these attachments being placed in the cavity of the profiled section which isolates them from the product being handled. The profiled section 1 consists of a concave sole plate 3 for ensuring leaktightness during fastening onto the belt 9. The raised flap 2 reveals a cavity intended to receive a stiffener 4 and the method for mechanical fastening which may be a bolt 5 and a nut 6 tightened by a tubular hexagon box spanner (wrench) 7. Once fastening has been achieved, the flap in the normal position protects the fastener device, preventing contact with the product being handled.
