Abstract

The present invention is in the field of domestic utilities. Its subject is a folding partition intended to convert a bath into a shower cubicle, the said partition being of the type comprising a plurality of panels which are articulated and/or mounted slidably on one another, one of them being capable of pivoting about, and sliding vertically along, a slide rail fixed to the wall above one edge of the bath, the said panels being capable of being folded back against the wall, and principally characterised in that, when the partition is folded back, the visible face 2 of the said partition 1 is a mirror, as a result of which in addition to the function of avoiding protruding parts when folded out, the partition also has the function of a large-size mirror which can be used, by virtue of its ability to pivot, together with a fixed mirror arranged, for example, above a washbasin, in order to permit the user to view himself from behind.
