Abstract

The invention relates to a table top for a table made of synthetic resin whose underside possesses reinforcing ribs 13, 14 and metal rods 15 keeping it rigid and flat, each metal rod 15 being applied to the table top, after it has been moulded and is still hot, and being fitted into a corresponding slot formed in several reinforcing ribs 14 so that it is fixed to the table top by the final shrinking of the material employed.
