Abstract

The support according to the invention is formed of two transparent walls, a flat lower wall 5, an upper wall 4 comprising a flat part forming a receptacle 1 and a non-flat part 3 defining a tubular volume. A compartment is left free between the upper wall 4 and the lower wall 5, inside which is inserted a sheet 8 provided with a decoration. The decor is thus visible from the outside.

Description

SUPPORT FOR SHEET BLOCK

  The present invention relates to supports that can be used to receive blocks of sheets on which one can write. The invention applies in particular to supports intended to receive blocks of repositionable self-adhesive sheets. The supports currently used for blocks of sheets are made of various materials, for example cardboard or rigid material. Such supports, when they are made of rigid material, have the disadvantage of being difficult to decorate: the printing of a decoration on a rigid material is all the more difficult and expensive as the

  support has complex non-planar shapes.

  On the other hand, it is understood that it is possible to print at a lower cost a cardboard forming support. However, it has become apparent that such a cardboard structure becomes relatively expensive when

  wants to give the support a non-planar shape.

  The object of the present invention is in particular to avoid the drawbacks of known supports, by proposing a new support structure, of complex shape which is not entirely planar, which can be decorated in a convenient and particularly inexpensive manner. As a result, it is possible to personalize such supports at less

  cost, and thus to use such a medium as advertising material.

  Another object of the invention is to provide such a support structure which can not only include a decoration, for example printed, but also include various objects giving by themselves a decorative effect. Another object of the invention is to provide such a structure which can contain such decorative objects in an inviolable manner,

  so that the objects are not accessible to the user.

  To achieve these and other objects, the support according to the present invention comprises, in known manner, a receptacle plate for receiving on its upper face the lower face of a block of sheets; according to the invention, the plate comprises at least one protruding portion extending the receptacle portion, the protruding portion remaining visible when a block of sheets is arranged in its intended receptable location; the plate comprises an upper wall and a lower wall which can be joined to one another along a peripheral rim and thus forming, after joining, a closed compartment; the upper wall at least is made of a transparent material allowing the interior of the compartment to be seen by transparency. When in use, the support is provided with a sheet carrying a decoration, the sheet being positioned inside the

  compartment, so that the decor remains visible from the outside.

  According to one embodiment, in the receiving part

  key, the upper and lower walls are separated from each other by a portion of flat compartment of small thickness, so that a sheet inserted between the two walls is maintained substantially

  resting against the underside of the upper wall.

  The projecting part of the support advantageously forms a hollow tubular volume defining at least one facet facing the block of sheets and an opposite facet. The support thus forms a

  decor on several sides, visible in several directions, multi

  thus folding the possibilities of personalization and decoration.

  Other objects, features and advantages of this

  invention will emerge from the following description of an embodiment

  particular tion, made in relation to the attached figures, among which: - Figure 1 is a side view in section of the support according to the invention; and

  - Figure 2 is a top view of the support of Figure 1.

  In the embodiment shown in the figures, the support according to the invention, generally in the form of a plate, comprises a part 1 forming a receptacle for receiving on its upper face the lower face of a block 2 of sheets. The plate includes a protruding portion 3, extending the part 1 forming receptable and remaining visible when the sheet block 2 is arranged in its location 1

provided forming receptacle.

  The plate comprises an upper wall 4 and a lower wall 5, which are connected to one another to be secured according to a peripheral rim 6. After joining, the two walls 4 and 5 form a closed compartment 7. The walls 4 and 5 are made of a transparent material, for example polyethylene, leaving visible the interior compartment 7. A sheet 8, carrying a decoration on its upper face, is positioned inside the compartment 7, the

  decoration being visible from the outside through the upper wall 4.

  In the receptacle forming part 1, the upper wall 4 and the lower wall 5 are separated by a flat compartment part of small thickness. In this way, the sheet 8 inserted between the two walls is held substantially in abutment against the face

  lower of the upper wall 4.

  As shown in the figure, the protruding portion 3 has a hollow tubular shape, of triangular section, delimited by a flat portion of lower wall 5, a first facet 9 oriented towards the receptacle part 1, a second facet 10 oriented towards the opposite of part 1 forming a receptacle. The facets 9 and 10 are connected by a rounded top 11. In the embodiment represented in FIG. 1 inside the protruding tubular portion 3, the sheet 8 is folded or curved to follow the facets 9 and 10, as the represents the figure, so that its upper face

  is pressed against the underside of facets 9 and 10.

  In the embodiment shown, the wall 5 is entirely planar, while the upper wall 4 comprises a planar portion forming the receptacle part 1, and a non-planar portion forming the protruding portion 3. The protruding portion 3 is closed, both ends of its cylindrical shape, by two facets joining the

  vertex 11 and the peripheral rim 6.

  A transverse rib 12 is formed on the upper face of the upper wall 5, between the receptacle portion 1 and the protruding portion 3. The rib 12 is a wedge against which the block 2 can be placed. This provides sufficient space between the

  facet 9 and block 2, leaving facet 9 visible.

  Preferably, the block 2 is formed from a block of repositionable self-adhesive sheets. The sheet 8 may include, in the area of the receptacle part 1, indications concerning the

way of positioning the block 2.

  It is understood that, in the arrangement shown in the figures, the support according to the invention comprises several surfaces capable of presenting a decoration or advertising inscriptions: a part of the flat portion 1 projects laterally on either side of the block and in front, and is visible from above; facet 9 is

  visible from the front; facet 10 is visible from the rear.

  During use, the sheet 8 is positioned between the walls 4 and 5, the walls are applied one against the other, and they are joined to one another by gluing. The lower wall 5 is flat, and the upper wall has, along its entire periphery, a lower flange 6 bearing by its inner face against the edge

  peripheral of the lower wall.

  Preferably, the lower wall 5 has an upper peripheral return 13; in this case, the lower rim 6 of the upper wall bears by its internal face against the external face of the upper peripheral return 13 of the lower wall;

  this arrangement stiffens the bottom wall, advantageously increases-

  ment the bonding surface, and helps maintain and tighten the

  edges of a sheet 8 inserted between the walls.

  One can advantageously have, inside the part

  protruding tubular, objects or matter participating by them-

  same to obtain a decorative aspect. We can thus have for example screws, springs, coffee beans, miniature reproductions, relief decorations in paper or printed cardboard, or a

combination of such elements.

  Other variants can be provided according to the invention, for example by making several protruding parts, such as the

  part 3, bordering all or part of the portion 1 forming a receptacle.

  Anti-slip pads can be positioned under the

  underside of the bottom wall 4.

Claims (10)

  1 - Support for sheet block, comprising a plate forming a receptacle for receiving on its upper face the lower face of a sheet block (2), characterized in that: - the plate comprises at least one protruding portion- (3) extending the part (1) forming a receptacle and remaining visible when a block of sheets (2) is disposed in its intended location forming receptacle (1), - the plate comprises an upper wall (4) and a lower wall (5) which can be joined together one to the other along a peripheral rim (6), so that, after joining, the two walls form a closed compartment (7), - the upper wall (4) at least is made of a transparent material allowing to see the interior of the compartment, so that a sheet (8) carrying a decoration can be positioned at   inside the compartment, the decor being visible from the outside.   2 - Support according to claim 1, characterized in that, in the part forming the receptacle (1), the upper (4) and lower (5) walls are separated from each other by a flat, thin compartment, so that a sheet inserted between the two walls is held substantially in abutment against the underside of the upper wall (4).   3 - Support according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized   in that the projecting portion (3) forms a hollow tubular volume defining at least one facet (9) opposite the part forming   receptacle (1) and an opposite facet (10).   4 - Support according to claim 3, characterized in that the   tubular projecting part contains objects or a particular material   pant by themselves to obtain a decorative appearance.   - Support according to one of claims 3 or 4, characterized   in that it comprises several protruding tubular parts bordering   all or part of the receptacle portion (1).   6 - Support according to any one of claims 1 to 5,   characterized in that the bottom wall (5) is flat, the wall   upper comprising a flat part forming a receptacle (1).   7 - Support according to claim 6, characterized in that the lower wall (5) comprises, along its entire periphery, a lower flange (6) bearing by its inner face against the edge 263256?   peripheral of the lower wall (5).   8 - Support according to any one of claims 1 to 7,   characterized in that the two walls (4, 5) are joined by gluing.   9 - Support according to any one of claims 1 to 8,   characterized in that it comprises a decorated sheet (8) inserted between the two walls (4, 5), the sheet being positioned so that its decorated upper face is at least partially in abutment against the   lower face of upper wall (4).   10 - Support according to any one of claims 1 to 9,   characterized in that a transverse rib (12) is formed on the upper face of the upper wall (4), forming a wedge for the   positioning of the sheet block (2).   11 - Support according to any one of claims 1 to 10,   characterized in that it includes a block of self-adhesive sheets   repositionable applied on the receptacle part (1).
