L'ensemble du dispositif est agencé de maniere a obtenir pour l'entrée du mouvement dans la boite de vitesses, un mouvement axial pour la sélection, et un mouvement de rotation pour l'engagement des différentes vitesses.L'arbre menant 7 comporte un croisillon 24, qui a une articulation 25 de manière a pouvoir loger le levier d'en trée 11 et de permettre son débattement. De plus, ce croisillon 24 a sur les deux cotes qui sont dans la même direction que l'arbre menant 7 et sur chacun de ses côtés un axe d'articulation. Finalement le croisillon 24 est constitué par deux élé- ments en forme de U qui sont raccordes par ses axes d'articulation et qui constituent l'ensemble dudit croisillon 24. La biellette de réaction 5 est raccordée par une de ses extrémités a un levier 26 qui est solidaire de l'arbre menant 7 et, par l'autre extrémité, un support 14 qui est lié a un élément fixe 6 du véhicule. Les liaisons de chaque extrémité de la biellette de réaction 5 sont assurées par une articulation 15 avec le levier 26, et par une articulation 16 avec le support 14.
