Abstract

Device for replacing the acetabular part of the pelvis by a straight, screwed cotyle with a discontinuous thread, fitted to the subchondral bone. It consists of a metal ring of hollow cylindrical shape, and of a polyethylene part making it possible to accommodate the upper part of a hip prosthesis.
