Abstract

The invention relates to a simulator of prostate palpation. It includes, in combination: a box of generally flattened shape; a wall 3b produced in an elastic material which can be deformed moderately easily and whose thickness is such that it is capable of being deformed when it undergoes pressure from the finger, and which includes bosses 4, 5, 6 whose shape and thickness correspond to the shape and the hardness of the various pathological states of the prostate; a membrane 8 made in an elastic material covering the said wall 3b; and lateral apertures 2 arranged in line with the bosses 4, 5, 6 simulating the various forms of prostates, so that a finger can be engaged therein.
