Abstract

The device according to the invention constitutes a novel type of umbrella and parasol. It consists of an element forming a shelter 1 and of a holding element forming a shaft and handle 2. These elements each consist of a volume included between two air tight sheets and whose intercommunicating subvolumes delimited by intermediate partitions confer on the final volume, once inflated by means of valves, its function of umbrella or of parasol. Void of air, these umbrellas or parasols may be folded up until they constitute a volume such that they may be placed in a garment pocket and even in a wallet.

Claims
