Abstract

The floating structure is noteworthy in that it comprises at the periphery and along at least two opposite parallel sides, one or more stabilising caissons 2 which are supported together with a mechanically joined framework 1 itself supported in its median zone by floats 3; the caissons and the floats are weighted and securely fastened to a means providing constant stability of the structure; the said structure being covered by a board.

Description

 The invention relates to a floating structure arranged to serve as a stage for shows.

 The object of the invention relates to the technical sector of floating devices in general.

 According to the invention, we wanted to achieve a floating structure of large dimensions, very stable, and arranged to safely receive people, equipment, decor, entering into the framework of a theatrical, musical, sporting show ...

 For this, and according to a first characteristic, the floating structure essentially comprises on the periphery and along at least two opposite parallel sides, one or more stabilization boxes which are connected together and with a mechanically welded framework itself supported in its zone median by floats, the caissons and the floats are ballasted and subject to a means ensuring constant stability of the structure; said structure being covered by a floor.

 These characteristics and others will emerge from the description which follows.

 The structure illustrated is unitary and corresponds to the dimensions necessary for a very particular kind of spectacle.

But it is obvious that one can starting from the same principle, design a unitary structure of smaller or larger dimensions, or modular structures connected together by any means to obtain a geometry suitable for the type of performance, as illustrated in figure 4.

 The structure comprises a central framework (1) composed of profiled bars (la) and (lb) judiciously distributed, arranged and assembled together to form a solid floor support (P).

 According to two opposite and parallel lateral sides, the framework (i) is connected by any known means to one or more metal boxes (2), for example tanks known under the name Bac CMR ", which are connected together by nesting or otherwise.

As a variant, it is not excluded that tubs are also fixed along the other two lateral sides of the frame.
Between the tanks (2) and perpendicularly floats (preferably cylindrical with tapered ends, are fixed under the frame by profiled bars (4), so that the floats are lower than the tanks.

 The floor (P) consists for example of wooden elements fixed to the profiles of the frame and completely covers the structure (frame and tanks). At the periphery, the floor receives a retaining belt (5) directly or in a reported manner constituting a raised edge (6) or "toe bar", and ur railing (7) is fixed to the belt or the boxes, possibly with an access gate.

 In order to ensure the stability of the assembly, the tanks (2) and the floats (3) are ballasted by any means, for example with water, and said tanks and floats are subjected to a control device from a pump (not shown), intended to automatically ensure constant stability under all circumstances.

 To effectively moor the structure relative to the bank of the body of water where it floats, latfralemenl are provided with tie rods (8) distributed over the length and fixed in an articulated manner to absorb the differences in levels. The extreme tie rods are associated with winches (9) to bring the structure back, and all of the tie rods are connected to fixed points on the bank (cement ring studs for example).

 As a variant, it is also possible to provide a motorization of the structure with directional means (rudder, pivoting propeller, etc.).

 Of course on the periphery of the structure of the decorative panels can be adapted either on the trays or on the railing. It is also possible to provide means of lighting the scene at the corners or elsewhere.

 When using special effects such as laser, it is necessary that the equipment is perfectly fixed. For this, we can mount this equipment at the back of the stage on a support fixed securely with respect to the body of water and with respect to the structure.

 According to another variant, it is also possible to provide a structure with a circular floor and mounted to pivot relative to the framework, which makes it possible to separate this floor into several sectors of a circle by partition walls and thus to have sectors hidden backs serving as backstage.

 The stage as it is designed can receive a minimum of 100 tonnes.

 The advantages are clear from the description, it highlights in particular the multiple possibilities of shows offered by this structure which is mainly suitable for the theater, but can also accommodate musical shows, sports, and many other cultural events.

Claims (9)

REYENDICÀTIONS -1- Floating structure arranged to serve as a stage for a show, characterized in that it comprises on the periphery and along at least two opposite parallel sides, one or more stabilization boxes (v) which are connected together and with a mechanically welded frame (1) itself supported in its middle zone by floats (3); the caissons and the floats are removed and subjected to a means ensuring the constant stability of the structure; said structure being covered by a floor.  -2- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that the floats (3) are cylinders with tapered ends which are arranged perpendicular to the boxes (2) and fixed by profiled bars (4) under the frame (1) , evenly spaced and so that they are lower than the boxes. -3- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that the boxes (2) which are tanks known under the designation CMR, are interconnected by nesting. -4- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that the boxes and the floats are ballasted with water to a level of stability which is controlled by an automatic pump device. -5- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that the framework (1) is made in the form of deep beams (la-lb) judiciously arranged, distributed and assembled together to form a solid floor support (P ); on the periphery at the level of the boxes (2X, the floor is limited by a support belt (5) forming directly or in an added manner a raised edge (6>, and a railing (7) are fixed on the belt or the boxes. -6- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that its mooring on the water is obtained by tie rods (8) connected to articulation with fixed points on the bank and some of which are associated with winches ( 9) to maneuver. -7- Floating structure according to claim i, characterized in that it is produced in modular form so between connected with others by any means and according to any geometry suitable for the type of show. -8- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that the special effects of the laser apparatus type are mounted at the rear on a support fixed securely relative to the bottom of the body of water and relative to the structure. -9- Floating structure according to claim 1, characterized in that the floor is pivotally mounted on the frame and can be separated into sectors by partitions.
