Abstract

Telescopic ski pole obtained by various mechanisms which enable it to be closed up to a very small size, thus affording multiple advantages. Consisting of five principal elements which slide over one another, locked in the deployed position by pawls, of an extended plastic handle making it possible to accommodate the assembly in the closed position, and of a four-element folding flake acting as a lower washer. The very practical operating principle is obtained by a small unlocking-control bar which, through the effect of thumb pressure, releases the first tube, thus entraining, by chain automation, the total closure of the assembly which is locked at the end of travel. In order to open it, it suffices simply to pull the handle with one hand, holding the flake in the other, until opening is complete.
