Abstract

This method according to the invention employs a pattern plan, varying according to the shapes of bottles, which will be attached to a leather skin. After the leather piece has been cut out, it should, after being made supple, be fixed to the bottom of a bottle by means of an adhesive or by means of clips. The method next includes an application of water glass to smooth the base of the bottle. The leather can also be directly printed upon. This method according to the invention is particularly intended for bottles of spirits, perfume etc.
