Abstract

The invention includes a device for recovering the shaving cream and shavings, making it possible to shave without needing to rinse the razor by passing it constantly under the tap. It is made up of a box structure 1 which is open at its two ends and has at the front of its lower base a cutout 5 for fastening onto the front of the razor. At the rear of the box structure there is incorporated a mild steel plate 6 for fixing the rear of the box structure by magnetism to the handle of the razor. On the handle of the razor there is incorporated a magnetised mild steel plate 13. By placing the box structure on the handle of the razor 7 the plate of the box structure 6 is attracted by the magnetised plate 13 of the handle of the razor, and serves to fix it. At the rear of the box structure there is a stop 3 which fits into a cutout 14 on the handle 7 of the razor, so as to block it.

Description

 The present application relates to a certificate of addition to patent application N 8500956, filed on January 24, 1985, which relates to a device for recovering the beard and the shaving cream from a mechanical razor.

 This patent had for object, a device adapted on a mechanical razor, to recover the beard and the shaving cream, thus avoiding a constant washing of the razor, by passing it under the tap, in order to evacuate the foam.

 It has an open case at its two ends, and is fixed on the handle of the razor, with its open side blade side, resting on the head of the razor and the handle.

 The lower surface has in the upper middle part, a cutout and a chamfer, for fixing the case to the front of the razor.

At the rear, there is a tab possibly having a lower stop, for fixing the housing, on the rear end of the razor handle.

 The upper surface of the case is smaller than the bottom, it is offset at the back, leaving an exposed area on the front of about 2.2 cm, to let the shaving cream penetrate.

 A cutout is provided at the front end of the lateral sides for the adaptation of the upper part of the lateral edges, at the level of the exposed part of the case on the front of the razor.

 An extension of the bottom part, relative to the end of the cutouts of the lateral edges, being always provided, intended to come to be positioned under the head of the razor to ensure the blocking of the end of the case.

 On the front of the case, cutouts defining parts in relief, are provided to facilitate the penetration of the shaving cream and also, for convenience.

 The purpose of this addition certificate is to provide improvements to the structure of such a device, the device adapted on a mechanical razor, according to the present addition, comprising a casing open at its two ends and having a cut to the before its lower base, into which the handle of the razor is inserted, for fixing the case (according to claim 1 of the main patent) and is characterized in that, on the rear bottom of the case, a soft iron plate is encrusted , and that, on the part facing the handle of the razor, is provided a magnet.

 According to other characteristics, in the bottom, and at the rear of the case, on its outer face, are molded, with the case, two lateral stops serving as a guide for the handle of the razor. On the rear leg of the case, there is molded a stop for blocking the case in a corresponding hollow part provided on the handle of the razor. Finally, according to one embodiment, the magnet provided on the handle of the razor is inlaid in the form of a plate, extending over the length of the front face thereof.

 A detailed description will be made with reference to Figures 1 to 7 appended only for illustration and not limitation.

 According to the present addition, on the rear bottom of the case in FIG. 1, the rear tab (4) has been reduced, and completed by a soft iron plate (6) of approximately 5 cm in length by 1 cm in width and 1 mm. thick, embedded in the rear bottom of the case. Two small plastic lateral guides (11 and 12) spaced apart from the width of the razor handle are provided outside the bottom of the case, serving as a guide for fixing the case to the razor handle (7). A stop (3) is provided at the rear of the case, for blocking the case on the cutout (14) in FIG. 7, provided on the handle of the razor.

 FIG. 7 represents the handle (7) of the razor, with a magnetic soft iron plate (13) of approximately 5 cm in length by 1 cm in width and thickness, molded with the handle of the razor (7), about 1 mm from the bottom base of the razor handle. A cutout (14) is provided for blocking the rear of the housing (1).

 By positioning the case on the razor handle, thanks to the cutouts before figure 4, on the one hand (2) (5) (8) (9) and the edges (10), the soft iron plate molded in the lower surface of the case, is attracted by the magnetic plate, molded inside the handle of the razor, and, as a result, the case is blocked on the handle of the razor, and ready for use.

 The rear shape of the lower surface of the case may be different, for example: it may be extended in the shape of a triangle in FIG. 5, or else at a right angle in FIG. 6.

Claims (4)

 1) Device adapted to a mechanical razor, comprising a case (1) open at its two ends, and having a cutout (5) at the front of its lower base, into which the handle (7) of the razor is inserted, for fixing the housing according to claim 1 of the main patent characterized in that, on the rear bottom of the housing, is encrusted a soft iron plate (6) and that on the part opposite the handle (7) of the razor, is provided a magnet (13).  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that, in the bottom and the career of the housing, on its outer face, are molded with the housing, two lateral stops (11 and 12), serving as a guide to the handle of the razor .  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that, on the rear leg of the housing is molded a stop (3), for blocking the housing (1), in a corresponding hollow part (14) on the handle (7) razor.  4) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that, the magnet (13) provided on the handle of the razor, is encrusted in the form of a plate, extending over the length of the front face thereof.
