Abstract

A vacuum cleaner for the collection of dust and other debris, comprising a rigid intake pipe (3) attached to a suction head (1). This suction head (1) is linked to the intake pipe (3) by means of a tubular connecting section (2), into which the free end (3a) of the intake pipe (3) slides. Fittings (2c, 4, 5) in the connecting section allow the free end, of the rigid intake pipe (3) to pass through (3a) the connecting section (2) and come to rest on the surface (20) to be cleaned in place of the suction head (1).
