Abstract

The blind consists of a rectangular awning (1) with a rigid rod at each end. At the rear end the rod is equipped with tapes which allow the blind to be tied to a cross-member at the back of the opening roof. At the front it has hooks on elastic to allow it to be connected e.g. to the windscreen sun-blinds (13). When not in use the blind can be rolled up and tied to the cross-member by the tapes. USE/ADVANTAGE - A blind, esp. for a motor vehicle with a sliding roof. Prevents driver from being dazzled by overhead sun e.g. shining through trees.
