Abstract

Illuminating device for use in the shuttlecock game known as badminton. The invention relates to a device making it possible to illuminate this shuttlecock game, thus creating novel playing conditions. This device consists of a bulb 3 and of a battery 2 connected by a switch 6. The bulb and battery assembly is held in a transparent plastic tube 4 which is split over its length so that it is possible to separate the lips thereof. This first tube, slipped into a second tube 7, is held therein, the bulb 3 towards the buffer part of the shuttlecock, by means of the switch which also acts as a closure system. The assembly is fixed into the shuttlecock by a flange 9 attached to the latter. This device according to the invention is intended to permit playing at night.

Description

 The present invention relates to a lighting device adapting to the game of flying related to tennis and called Badminton.

 This device will allow this game to be played at nightfall, which will create new conditions conducive to additional fun.

 Until then, this game was only played in daylight. It consists in sending each other a special shuttlecock thanks to a racket available to each player, generally two.

 This device: a bulb and a battery held by two tubes which are inserted in the steering wheel, so that the bulb is in the knocking part of the steering wheel, which it makes luminous. A collar secured to the outer tube keeps the device which can be removed easily, this collar holding thanks to a nylon thread knotted on the outside of the steering wheel.

 An embodiment is given by way of nonlimiting example, referring to the appended drawings: FIG. 1: sectional view of the device, FIG. 2: external view of the profile device, FIG. 3: external view of the device of three -quarter.

 This device comprises a simple transparent plastic tube (1) split over its entire length, in such a way that it can be partially opened by spreading the lips from this section. You can insert the battery (2) and a small socket with its small bulb (3) into this tube. This socket will be wedged by two reliefs (4) inside the tube which will also hold and block the socket towards the bulb (4). It is a socket and a screw bulb.

 Under this socket come two wires which will establish the electrical contact. One of these wires is connected to a metallic current conductor plate, located immediately after the socket and which will rest on the + pole of the battery. This metal plate (5) will be fixed to the plastic tube.

 The pole, that is to say the other face of the battery, will be connected to the other wire coming from the socket via the switch (6) which will be described later. This wire will be isolated in its path, along the pile itself.

 The assembly of this tube containing this apparatus, when it is closed, can be slipped into another tube (7) of transparent plastic, not split, which will hold it. This tube includes the switch (6) which will serve at the same time to fix the first tube and to fix the bulb battery system.

 The second tube (7) will tighten at the end of the side of the bulb to stop the first tube. The switch mentioned above will be a large rigid plastic screw which will be screwed into a corresponding hollow part of the outer tube (the second tube). This screw (8) will abut against the inner tube (the first tube), which will stop at the pole end - to the battery. The deep face of this small screw will be impregnated with metal conducting the current, so that, screwed in, the current passes to the pole wire - coming from the socket. This second tube (7) will carry in its middle, to the text a collar (9) in transparent, semi-rigid plastic, with reliefs flexible enough to be able to be slid into the largest hollow grooves of Badminton. These reliefs will carry, in the part which will be external to the Badminton shuttlecock, a small hole (a small hole by relief) in which a nylon thread can be slid, which thus making the turn of the shuttlecock by all these holes, will be used by a simple knot, to fix and maintain the light system.

 The light device is inserted in Badminton so that the bulb is in the knocking part of Badminton.

 It is possible to impregnate the whole in whole or in part with luminescent or fluorescent or phosphorescent paint. The battery used will be of intensity and voltage corresponding to those of the bulb.

 1) Device for making the play of the related steering wheel luminous. in tennis called Badminton characterized in that the part containing the bulb (3) is located near the knocker of Badminton.  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the bulb and battery assembly is located in a tube (4) sliding in a second tube (7).  3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized by a collar (9) holding the two tubes and attaching them to the Badminton shuttlecock.  4) Device according to claims 1 or claim 2 or 3 characterized by the Serzeture system (6) acting as a switch and used to hold the entire device in place.  5) Device according to the preceding claims characterized by the tube (4), now the battery and the bulb, ui is split all along and which can be separated from the lips.
