Abstract

The liquid crystal display consists of means capable of creating a contrast effect between the excited and non-excited elements, which remains visible in any ambient lighting conditions. To achieve this, a photoluminescent material is incorporated in or deposited on one of the glass or plastic plates of the liquid crystal.
