Abstract
Description
DESCRIPTION & PfLAMBUL?:
The present invention relates to a machine for making velvet carpets with designs of several colors, which may have a structure in which the thread is brought to the anchor point and is implanted in a tuft in a support fabric. The mechanisms for advancing the support fabric, advancing the insertion head, movements in the insertion head (selection of the thread, implantation of the tuft) are implemented by a step and step motor and programmed at from software developed from a computer.
According to the example of embodiment, the new machine for stitching the hair comprises
Figure 1, a completely mobile comprising: a hollow needle 12, a piston 13 grout
inside, a cruciform punch 9 - the assembly having an alter movement
native from bottom to top, and from top to bottom - adjustable in height, moving laterally
LEMENT above a support fabric driven by a roller system, a
grooved cylinder (5) 6 - the needle 12 has a notch 10 where the thread will be housed
to initiate the drive movement.
which a different color thread is engaged. The cassette moves in OY
to present in the axis of needle 12 the selected wire which will be implanted
in the support 7 via the needle 12.
The operations are broken down as follows: 1 - Positioning of the cassette corresponding to the color of the selected thread.
This positioning of the cassette places the thread in tension between a fixed clamp A and a movable clamp B. The thread is then perfectly aligned under the needle 12.
The needle 12 containing the piston 13 descends introducing the wire into the pilot hole drilled by the needle 9. The piston 13 completes the insertion of the wire until penetration into the groove 6 - (fig 2) 3 - The needle 13 rises at the same time as the piston 12.
4 - Coupe du fil en 4.4 - Cut the thread in 4.
5 - La micro-pince mobile B, libère l'extrémité du fil et se déplace pour saisir le fil en b. 5 - The mobile micro-clamp B, releases the end of the wire and moves to grip the wire at b.
The micro-clamp B returns to the original position to put the wire back in tension between the clamp  and the clamp 3.
7 - La séquence est å nouveau dans la situation indiquée en 1.7 - The sequence is again in the situation indicated in 1.
Although the selection cassette is shown as receiving wires from three or four devices, it goes without saying that this number may vary and that additional colors may be received. Of course, the invention is in no way limited to the execution details described, to which numerous changes and modifications can be made without departing from its scope.
