Abstract

The invention relates to a novel device for driving the main screw, described in patent No. 86/02132. The screw-type speed reducer is replaced by a belt transmission serving as a force limiter as a result of the slip of the driving pulley in the transmission belt. This jack is actuated by an electric motor 8; the belt 25 drives the pulley 5, threaded at its centre, in order to displace in a to-and-fro movement the main screw 6 which serves as an arm for operating the two leaves.
