Abstract

The invention relates to a device for separating mushrooms by classifying them into a number of categories: ''short-stemmed'', ''medium-stemmed'', and ''long-stemmed''. It consists of a conveyor belt and a motion camera enabling the total length 3 and diameter 2 of each mushroom to be measured. Sorting occurs afterwards on the basis of the ratio of 3:2. The invention is chiefly intended for sorting mushrooms before they are trimmed mechanically.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour trier les champignons en fonction de la longueur des pieds. The present invention relates to a device for sorting mushrooms according to the length of the feet.

Le principe de la présente invention réside dans la corrélation qui existe au sein de chaque catégorie entre la longueur (1) et le diamètre (2). On peut retenir pour un "pied moyen": (1) = (2). Cette corrélation existe aussi entre la longueur totale (3) et le diamètre (2):
(3) = (2) x 1,5 pour un pied "moyen".
