Abstract

The invention relates to seats of various types, having a self-contained built-in heat source. The model represented is an armchair having an enveloping shape, where the heat is produced by means of chemical resistors R, and carried by means of a natural hot air draught. A similar model comprises an accelerating fan. A variant, without air circulation, consists in incorporating the resistors into the inner padding of the armchair. The principle of the heating seat can be applied in sanitary equipment: the icy contact between the bidet and the skin is avoided by heating the periphery of the bowl by means of the hot water used.

Description

L'invention est constitue d'un siège auquel une source de chaleur est incorporée par construction. Elle ressortit donc aux deux domaines de l'ameublement et du chauffage, une de ses applications concerne l'e'quipement sanitaire. The invention consists of a seat in which a heat source is incorporated by construction. It therefore falls within the two fields of furniture and heating, one of its applications relates to sanitary equipment.

La station assise prolongée expose à des refroidissements qu' il est parfois malaisé de prévenir: a) Un chauffage central poussé est souvent malsain; au surplus, l'appréciation de la tempéra- ture idéale varie d'un individu à l'autre. b) Pour ce qui est des radiateurs mobiles: placés à proximité, ils produisent un effet de brûlure locale sans réchauffer ltensemble du corps; éloignés, leur chaleur se disperse. Avec l'un comme l'autre de ces modes de chauffage, la personne assise ne profite que d'une petite partie des calories dépensées. Les sièges sanitaires posent un cas particulier: le contact glacial du bidet contre la peau est très déplaisant.
