Abstract

Equipment for decontamination of objects on which radioactive substances have deposited at the surface. The treatment consists in cleaning the contaminated surfaces. The equipment which is, preferably, made in modular form, comprises a working surface 11 and at least one vessel 20... 25 whose opening is in the working surface. The latter is surmounted by a ventilation hood 13. The space bounded by the working surface and the ventilation hood is surrounded by vertical walls.
