Abstract
Heat generator operating by creating friction in a heat-transfer fluid passing between two elements with vanes situated in an enclosure. According to the invention, a first element with vanes 12 is rotationally driven inside an enclosure 11 traversed by the heat-transfer fluid and a second element with vanes 15 is mounted rotationally facing the first and coupled to the latter by a mechanical transmission 16 consisting, for example, of a planetary gear train. The planetary gear train is preferably arranged so that the two elements with vanes 12 and 15 rotate in opposite directions with respect to one another.
