Abstract

Le procédé d'emboîtage des plateaux consiste à faire pivoter simultanément les deux plateaux à emboîter autour d'axes longitudinaux et, plus particulièrement, à réaliser l'emboîtage des plateaux en continu, à une vitesse linéaire uniforme pendant leur transfert entre le poste de préparation 9 des plateaux à emboîter et le poste d'empilage 22 des plateaux emboîtés. L'installation d'emboîtage comprend un poste de préparation 9 des plateaux par paire, un poste d'emboîtage 1 à bras pivotants 7 et un poste d'empilage 22 des plateaux emboîtés ; selon l'invention, les bras 7 du poste d'emboîtage 1 sont mobiles, d'une part, longitudinalement entre le poste de préparation 9 des plateaux et le poste d'empilage 22, au moyen d'un dispositif convoyeur du type à chaînes sans fin 6 et, d'autre part, en rotation autour d'axes 10 parallèles au sens d'avancement des plateaux, au moyen de chemins curvilignes 12 qui s'étendent de part et d'autre, le long dudit dispositif convoyeur.
