Abstract

The invention consists of a device intended to dispense onto the ground, in a measurable and continuous manner, foodstuff for animals, using the natural movements of a small rodent housed in the device. It consists of a first circular-cross-section bucket 1 with a hanging handle 3 and lid 2, the bottom of which is perforated with holes 4 at the periphery, of a second bucket 5, fitted inside the first bucket, of which the lower quarter is narrowed into the shape of a funnel; the vertical part of the funnel is perforated with two lateral and symmetrical orifices 6 and covered with a movable collar 8 which also comprises two orifices 9 identical to the first, permitting the adjustment of the supply of foodstuffs. The space 7 which exists between the lower parts of the two buckets serves as a housing for the small rodent 10 which, by moving, discharges the foodstuffs through the holes.
