Abstract

This apparatus is of the modular type, comprising one or more columns consisting of at least one support which can be fitted to the top or to the bottom of a door 7, or at least one vertical upright 6 on which, according to the user's choice, are fitted fastening bases for the floor and the ceiling 1, wall fastening supports 3, sleeves 4 for the vertical assembly of several uprights with at least one horizontal shaft 8 or 9 having at least one loop 10 for coupling thereto one or more manoeuvring members with springs, elastic cables or ropes for muscle traction, which is fitted on the support of the door 7 or slides on the vertical upright or uprights 6, the assembly of the movable parts having available, for immobilisation, one or more large-size screw handles 5 for facilitating gripping. The apparatus according to the invention is intended particularly for muscle-development, re-education as well as strengthening the muscles of the body, for domestic or group use by virtue of its modular and adjustable design.
