Abstract

A method and a high-security shutting device intended for temporarily shutting off the primary pipework of the steam generators (SG) of nuclear reactors for inspection and maintenance. The method concerns the attachment of "fastenings" 961 and the local milling 970 of the surface of the water box (bowl) of the SG, to adapt it for receiving a shutter 920.
