Abstract

Device to facilitate the cooking of food on a wood fire without pollution and without inflammation risks. The invention relates to a barbecue which is mechanically fanned by means of hearth rotation on a plate equipped with fins 2 which stir up the air and produce a hot stream which rises and flows back by means of baffles 7 onto the food to be cooked. Rotating the hearth 4 prevents fats and oils from accumulating on the same spot and catching fire. The rotation is ensured by a motor 3 attached underneath the barbecue casing. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to be used in residential areas where houses are in close proximity, since no smoke is given off.
