Abstract

The invention relates to an ergonomic handle to ease: - carrying and moving cooking containers such as saucepans, frying pans, stewpots, etc.; - pouring the contents out of these containers. Moreover, this handle offers a physical and thermal insulation of the users' hands. It consists of a main handle A comprising: - a tilted plate 1, which distributes the load over the internal surface of the hand and of the wrist; its hand grasp is parallel to the load, which makes lateral control easier; - a shield 4 insulating the user's hand, behind which is found the temporary fastening system for containers 5 as well as a secondary handle B which can be adapted to the right or to the left of the main handle 1. Held by the second hand, it ensures better lateral control of the whole unit.

Description

The present invention relates to gripping and moving kitchen containers.

Principle: the hands, gripping organs and important sensitive receptors, assist man, first and foremost, in his daily vital tasks.

In the kitchen, these tasks are sometimes difficult. One of them: grasping and moving pots, pans or casseroles can even become dangerous. Indeed - carry a pot, itself already heavy, - move a large hot pan from the stove to the table, without
overturning it, - removing a hot dish from an often inaccessible oven, - pouring a saucepan of boiling water, these operations are a priori simple, but can end badly, causing: material damage, injuries, burns. In addition, in the elderly, whose primary handicap is the reduction of muscle strength, these common uses may become impossible.

n::
traditionnelles.
To remedy these problems, this study focuses on the design of an ergonomic handle, adaptable to any type of kitchen container, and which offers the following solutions - a simple, obvious grip suitable for all users.
tors (right-handed, left-handed, elderly or physically
reduced), - handled by the hand, wrist and arm, it facilitates
not::
gripping, transport and handling of the containers and their
content, - by its developed surface under the forearm, it distributes the weight
of the container, requiring less effort to lift it, - by its shield, it isolates the user from the heat, - with its secondary handle, it allows the other hand to counter
the stability of the container and its contents during movement
or a transfer, - it avoids the phenomenon of rotation encountered on the handles
traditional.

Description of the ergonomic handle for kitchen containers
Made of injected plastic, preferably phenoplast (bakelite), molded on a metal insert, it has two separate parts - the main handle (A) includes: the board (1), it is perforated in (2) for a possible wall connection, moreover it has two lateral and opposite screw threads (3) for fixing a secondary handle (B). This board is extended by a protective shield (4) which isolates the hand from the container to be worn (R) and therefore from heat and hot projections. Behind this shield is inserted the standard fixing system (5) to attach the container to be moved.

The board allows gripping parallel to the container, ensuring better lateral control of the latter. By its surface, it provides a large support point evenly distributed under the wrist.

Elle sett à la deuxième main pour contrôler la stabilité du récipient, de meme elle vient assurer un bon versement de son contenu.- the secondary handle (B) is screwed in (3) to the right or to the left of the board (7) (left or right-handed). It setts with the second hand to control the stability of the container, similarly it comes to ensure a good payment of its contents.

The 1/4 drawing represents the ergonomic handle in situation, attached to a pan. The secondary handleBest screwed to the left of the main handle (A).

Drawing 2/4 shows the grip of the ergopomic handle by the right hand of the user. The secondary handle (B) can be, in the case of this figure, grasped by the left hand of the user; it will allow better control of the container and its contents.

Drawing 3/4 shows the ergonomic handle in its two elements: main handle (A) and secondary handle (B). The latter can be attached to the right or left of the board (1).

Drawing 4/4 shows the plan at scale 1 of the main handle (A) (side view, top view + partial sections).
