Abstract

The invention comprises a system consisting of a notched index combination 3 located on the stock of the firearm and blocking the trigger 1, thus neutralising the firearm by preventing the shot from being fired if the correct combination has not been made beforehand. A simple movement of the thumb of the hand holding the firearm to operate the notched indices 3 allows this combination, known only to the user, to be made and makes it possible to release the trigger 1 to allow preparation for firing. At this moment, an index 5 appears at the bottom of the cheek 4, indicating that the firearm is ready for firing. The cheek 4 having the combination system is fastened to the stock 7 by means of self-locking screws 6, in order to prevent inopportune removal. Figure 1 shows the device according to the invention which, by providing safety, is intended especially for police officers, security couriers, the armed forces and users of guns for sporting purposes who keep firearms at home.
