Description

Absorbent pad for mild incontinence.

  The present invention relates to an absorbent pad for light incontinence, formed of a multilayer structure comprising a liquid impermeable outer sheet, an inner sheet

  permeable to liquids and an intermediate cushion of absorbent material.

  The known absorbent pads of this type are not entirely satisfactory because their conformation does not correspond to the anatomy of the human body, especially in the case of male subjects,

  and that their sealing often leaves something to be desired.

  Various attempts have been made to adapt fittings to

  the male anatomy, by predicting folds

  to adopt a "pocket" form. However, these folds complicate

  manufacturing and increase the cost of the fittings.

  It has also been proposed, to adapt rectangular diapers to the anatomy of children, particularly to improve comfort and tightness in the crotch and thigh area, to submit the lateral edges of diapers at a micro-crepe,

  by formation of transverse micro-folds in the crotch zone.

  However, the contraction and elasticity provided by this microcrepage are low and could not, on an incontinent absorbent pad, lead to a conformation of the pad significantly improving its adaptation to human anatomy, especially male, and its tightness. In addition, microcracking complicates and slows down

manufacture of the article.

  The present invention relates to an absorbent liner for light incontinence which, while being of simple manufacture and low cost, has a conformation adapted to human anatomy not only female but especially male, and ensures in particular a

good sealing.

  The absorbent pad according to the invention is formed of a multilayer structure comprising an impermeable outer sheet

  liquids, a liquid-permeable inner sheet and a

  intermediate sin of absorbent material. The outer sheet and the inner sheet, having the same rectangular shape, are longer and wider than the cushion of absorbent material.   covered by the cushion 3, that is to say on the strips 9 and 10.

  Fixing the elastic elements 11 in the stretched state on the sheet 2 is also preferably done by gluing, before application of the

sheet 4.

  The manufacture of the lining 1 is carried out continuously, by unwinding a continuous sheet 2, applying longitudinal lines of glue on the sheet 2, placing absorbent cushions 3 prefabricated at intervals on the sheet 2, fixing the elements continuous elastics 11 in the stretched state on both edges of the sheet 2 and application of a top sheet 4 continues on the assembly. Absorbent pad for mild incontinence, especially sex   male, formed of a multilayer structure comprising an outer sheet   fluid-impermeable upper sheet, a liquid-permeable topsheet and an absorbent material intermediate cushion, characterized in that the outer sheet (2) and the inner sheet (4), rectangular in shape, are longer and wider than the cushion (3) of absorbent material, also of rectangular shape, and that   elastic elements (11) are attached in a stretched condition to the outer sheet.   (2), on the side facing the inner sheet (4), on any   the length of the outer sheet, on either side of the lateral edges (5) of the cushion (3).   2. Packing according to any one of claims 1 to 3,   characterized by the fact that the cushion of absorbent material comprises two layers of different widths.   6. Gasket according to any one of the preceding claims,   characterized in that the outer sheet (2) bears, on its face   exterior, adhesive means covered with a detachable protection.
