Abstract

The invention relates to equipment intended, in a closed hearth, to regulate the distribution of heat exchange on the periphery of the apparatus by means of indentations made on the sides of a corridor situated at the bottom of the outside of the hearth, with the possibility of shutting off these indentations in order to obtain a different distribution after blind lateral air inlet openings provided. The system comprises two sets of indentations A and A', on the sides of a corridor B and B', a main air inlet E, a rear exchange surface C and two hot air outlets D and D'; the indentations thus arranged allow passage over the lateral walls of the apparatus G and G'.
