Abstract

The invention relates to a cash register, especially for a retailer. The numbered keys 13 of the keyboard 12 are those of a calculator. The keys 15 of the half-keyboard 4 are reduced in number (from 5 to 9). The user presses on one or more of them at once, in order to define a binary number coded over several bits.
