Abstract

The invention relates to the manufacture of a stylish wooden door. This door is inexpensive, in spite of its "solid" and "elegant" appearance. It is manufactured from laminated panels which are adhesively bonded, grafted or not grafted, and are cut according to the desired style. It therefore consists of a frame and of one or more stylised panels which are held and locked in the door by large frame mouldings located on either side of the door. This door can have any dimensions, any style and may be used with any type of closure device.

Actuellement la fabrication des portes de style en bois est la suivante:elles sont constituées d'un bâti avec traverse(s) assemblés par tenons et mortaises;dans ce bâti-,des rainures recevront le ou les panneaux selon le style de la porte.Cette fabrication demande d'une part un très gros investissement en matériel et matière première,d'autre part le temps de fabrication est impor -tant,car les assemblages par tenons,mortaises,et les rainures, nécessitent de nombreux pointages. Currently the manufacturing of wooden style doors is as follows: they consist of a frame with crosspiece (s) assembled by tenons and mortises; in this frame, grooves will receive the panel or panels according to the style of the door. A l'intérieur des deux panneaux,3 rainures(3 pour cette dimension de porte)sont effectuées,elles sont destinées à recevoir des pièces métalliques qui renforcent le rigidité de la porte obtenue en collant les deux panneaux.(Fig.3)
Les deux découpes menuisées sont replacées dans la porte et maintenues et emprisonnées par le collage ou le pointage des moulures à grand cadre,situées de part et d'autre de la porte.
