Abstract

The thin rounded shell has a plane of symmetry and is the result of the cutting-out of a thin hollow sphere via three planes, all perpendicular to the plane of symmetry. The dimensions are set as a function of a marble or of a game ball. The shell is able to behave in seven different ways when it is touched by the ball, as a function of the fineness of the adjustment of the blow in terms of force and in terms of direction.
