Abstract

Device allowing the stopping of the gas used for propelling the liquid when a beer or lemonade barrel is completely empty. It is constituted by a plug 1 screwed on the body of the cylinder 2 for the insertion of the float 3; a seal 4 provides fluid-tightness; a bleeder 5 allows air or gas to be eliminated for the correct functioning of the float 3 when the circuit is brought into service. Two pipes leave from the body and from the bottom of the cylinder 2, one 12 for supplying the beer, the other 6 for the outlet of the beer going to the bar tap. A bowl 8 machined at 90 DEG serves for receiving the stopper needle valve 9 which is at the base of the float 3. When the cylinder contains no more liquid coming from the barrel, the float 3 descends in order to stop the output of the pipe 10 under the pressure of the gas which is still present in the barrel. A part 11 cut from bar is used for removing the float 3; the plate 13 is used for mounting the device. Device according to the invention particularly intended to cut off the gas coming from a pressurized beer or lemonade barrel when the latter is empty of liquid.

Dispositif ou appareil pour contenir la sortie du gaz venant du fût vide de bière ou de limonade caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un corps cylindrique creux qui peut être en métal ou matière plastique alimentaire, dans lequel se déplace verticalement et librement un flotteur. Ce conduit qui sort du fond du corps cylindrique comporte dans sa partie haute intérieure du corps du cylindre une cuvette usinée à 900 (8) formant une portée devant recevoir le pointeau obturateur du flotteur(9).Lorsque ce dernier est en position basse il vient fermer hermétiquement l'orifice de sortie du conduit(IO)empèchant le gaz de sortir quant le fût de bière ou limonade est entièrement vide de liquide.
