Abstract

Device for controlling alarm circuits or systems for preventing the theft of vehicles. The device is composed of the following elements: a casing 16, an unbreakable glass sphere 1, a magnetic needle 23 mounted on a shaft 1 bis as well as eight circuits which send out an alarm in the event of a break-in, namely 4 and 5 north and south, 20 and 6, 19 and 8, 17 and 12 north and south, east and west.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device preventing vehicle theft.

 The device is provided: 1) by a cullule and a needle which prevent the vehicle from moving to the right or to the left.

 2) by the ball contacts which activate the studs from North to South and from West to East, which prohibit the lifting of said vehicle from the right side or from the left side, from the front or from the rear and however it is.

 To date, there is no alarm which does not sound when the vehicle is lightly touched (in passing), or when a schoolboy sits on the hood, or in windy weather (ex : mercury system).

 However with my system, you have to raise high enough to trigger the alarm.

 If, however, a thief managed to get inside and start the vehicle, the simple fact, on the spot of changing direction, (right and left), the alarm would start and be maintained until upon the arrival of its owner.

 If we wanted to adjust the device using a magnet or a drill, simple vibrations would activate the alarm.

 If, however, the thief tore off the assembly, the contact break alarm would be activated by a maintained contact.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible mainly to remedy the removal from the plate (which is currently done), hence the system for varying the needle.

 The device can be made of very hard material (stainless steel type) and the unbreakable glass globe (duralex type), in two crimped parts.

 Figure 1 shows in section the device of the invention.

 The device shown in Figure (1) comprises: a case (16) (stainless steel type) a shatterproof glass globe (1) ("duralex" type) and a magnetic needle (23) ("compass" type) mounted on a ball joint (14) adjustable by a threaded ring (here), locked by a key system (13), mounted on a single leg (24) and fixed with rivets ("pop 25" type) on the vehicle floor in front of the speed handle.

The simple variation of indication of the needle (23) breaks the circuit of the light beam between the cell (19) and the bulb (8) by the shutter (18): the broken circuit emits the alarm.

 In the case of system tilting, the ball system (10) closes the circuit (17 and 12) and this from left to right (front to back, not shown in the diagram).

 This ball contact (10) mounted on a support (9 bis) pivoting on an axis (9) adjustable by a screw (11). The screw (7) is used to change the bulb (8) and the cell (19). The spring (23 bis) fixed on the axis (1 bis) is used to dampen weak vibrations.

 If an intruder wanted, with the help of a magnet, to hold the needle towards the North, there is a pin contact (4) at the North pole as at the South pole, ensured by a sheet of soft, flexible iron ( 5) closing a contact (or forward or backward).

 If the intruder acted with a magnet above the glass globe, on the needle (23), it would rise and establish contact between the studs (6 and 22) or (20 and 22) , which would trigger the alarm.

 The frame (16 and 24) being of stainless steel type.

 The globe is made of unbreakable glass (duralex type).
