Abstract

On a frame (1) are four upwards supports which are provided with adjustable centering pins (5). The centering pins (5) have hooks at their ends to which a textile sling (7) is attached. With the help of a ball joint (8) and a telescopic tube (9) the frame can be adjusted to suit the bed it is attached to and the limb to be treated. The distance between the two pairs of supports is adjusted by a hand wheel (11). The diameter of the limb is accommodated by adjustment screws (12). During the plastering process, the textile sling and the cotton wool elements normally used are both embedded in the plaster. Upon completion the textile sling is removed from the hooks.
