Abstract

The invention relates to a device for magnetic protection of electrical clockwork movements making it possible to prevent microscopic ferrous impurities being deposited on the electric motor during cleaning. It comprises a support 1 for fixing the clockwork movements 2 while being cleaned in a liquid 6 and a support 3 on which permanent magnets 4 are fixed. Since the magnetic force of these permanent magnets 4 is much stronger than that of the rotors of the electric motors of the clockwork movements to be cleaned, the ferrous impurities will be deposited on the magnets 4 and thus avoid any deposition on the electric motor. The most significant application of the invention is the avoidance of the dismantling of the electric motor of the clockwork movement before and after cleaning.
