Abstract

The invention relates to instruments of the "permanent diffuser" type, allowing pipes contaminated by bacterial germs, vermin or insects to be treated continuously by the vapours of a deodorising disinfectant liquid. It comprises a diffuser body A of trapezoidal shape which is solidly attached by plastic welding to the rectangular security vessel C. An electric fan sends the vapours G into the pipeline F at B, the only join with the waste-disposal column J. A reservoir E situated on one face of the diffuser body contains the disinfectant liquid D, which liquid enters the vessel C through a tube H of small diameter.
