Abstract

Folding-table underframe characterised in that it consists of a rigid frame formed by two vertical uprights 1 connected by two horizontal crosspieces 2. The said vertical uprights 1 are equipped internally with spindles 3 which are securely fastened to the table-top supports 4 and to the legs 5. The system is opened out by a 90 DEG rotation of the table-top support 4 and of the leg 5, brought about by the rotation of the spindle 3. It is equipped with tightening handles 6 mounted on the uprights 1 in order to lock the spindles 3 in the closed or unfolded position. The legs 5 are equipped with levelling jacks or with casters 7.
