Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for handling bricks and building blocks without touching them with the hands. It consists of a handle 1 which controls the assembly of the shears 4 and the jaw 5 with articulation by means of the hinge 6 which is also the articulation of the shears 3 which are provided with a return handle 7 and with a locking screw 8 which locks the slide 2 which supports the jaw 9. When the user exerts a tension force on the handle 1, the jaws 5 and 9 close together clamping the brick or building block between them. The apparatus according to the invention is particularly intended for handling bricks and building blocks in the building industry.

La figure représente l'appareil selon l'invention,et comporte un lévier qui sert aussi de poignée des dimensions de l'ordre de 48 centimètres de long et de deax centimètres de cotés (i).Cette poignée est solidaire de l'articulation(6) qui fait corps avec la demie cisaille (4) et la machoire (5).La demie cisaille (3) comporte l'anse (7) de rappel,une vie pour bloquer le coulisseau extensible (2) qui est solidaire de la machoire (9) Le seul fait d'exerer une traction sur la poignée (1) les machoires (5) et (9) se rapprochent serrant entre elles la brique ou le parping qui peuvent être des dimentions différents,puieque l'appareil étant extensible par le coulisseau (2) qui se bloque par la vis de serra- ge (8).Pour retirer l'appareil il sufit de saisir au même temps que la poignée l'anneau ou anse (7) desserrant ainsi les sachoires (5) et (9)
