Abstract

The present invention relates to the attachment and adjustment of various supports on items of furniture, offering the following advantages: - Free choice of the immobilisation height. - Simple appearance due to the elimination of any type of rack systems. - Possibility of using the support for purposes other than just the attachment of shelves inside the item of furniture: shelves between two items of furniture, lamps, closure panels, etc. The immobilisation of the support is achieved by the swelling of a block of rubber 1 between the two parallel faces of a U-shaped profile, which is achieved by virtue of the displacement of a nut 3 on a threaded rod 2 which is itself controlled by a screwdriver 4. This invention permits the creation of furniture which is very versatile in use.
