Abstract

The subject of the invention is a connector having built-in spark gaps for protection against overvoltages. This connector is of the type provided with a construction having a peripheral projection in the form of a ring which is open at its two ends, in which ring housings are provided in which each receives a conducting part 4 held in position and locked in its housing by means of an overmoulded part 5 made from an insulating material, each of the said parts 4 being connected at one of its ends to a common conducting strip 6 which is disposed on the outer wall of the connector and connected to earth.
