These products, like all the products of formula I, have pesticidal properties, especially insecticides and acaricides, which are very interesting.
The following will be given the preparation of some of these products as described in the French patent application 81-19481.
The process which is the subject of the present invention is particularly advantageous because it makes it possible to obtain in a simple and rapid manner, from easily accessible raw materials, the desired products I with the configuration of the desired double bond, that is to say the products in which the cyclopropane and the carboxyl group are cis position relative to the double bond.
dáns laquelle la géométrie est essentiellement Z.The processes for the preparation of the products of formula I known to date did not make it possible to obtain the products of formula I
than with a much longer synthetic scheme, so
example that European Patent Application No. 0048186 describes and
claims a process for the preparation of esters of formula IIK:
in which Rapeut may be an alkyl radical, linear, branched or cyclized and A, the remainder of an alcohol used in pyrethrinoid synthesis, characterized in that a compound of formula (IV) is reacted ::
in which Hal represents a halogen atom and alk represents an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 20 carbon atoms with an alkaline agent capable of tearing off the halogen atoms, then in a second step, or with a capable agent introducing the carboxylic group to obtain the compound of formula (V):
that is subjected to the action of an esterification agent R OH in which R α retains the same meaning as above to obtain the compound of formula (VI)
or with a derivative of formula Hal-CO2R α wherein Hal represents a halogen atom and R α retains its previous meaning to directly obtain the compound of formula (VI)
then subjecting the compound of formula (VI) to the action of a mild hydrogenation agent to obtain the compound of formula (VII)
in which the double bond has the geometry Z which is subjected to the action of an acid hydrolysis agent capable of selectively cleaving the ester function connected to the carbon at 1 of the cyclopropane, to obtain the compound of formula (II ) corresponding
which is subjected to the action of an alcohol AOH, to obtain the corresponding ester of formula
in which the geometry is essentially Z.

On extrait à l'éther isopropylique, lave à l'eau, sèche et évapore à sec sous pression réduite.65 g of lithium bromide are placed in 600 cm3 of anhydrous tetrahydrofuran. and 19 g of the acid lactone (1R, cis) 2,2-dimethyl-3-dihydroxymethyl cyclopropane 1-carboxylic acid. 50 g of potassium tert-butoxide in solution in 100 cm 3 of tetrahydrofuran are slowly added over half an hour and maintaining the temperature at 400 ° C. The reaction mixture is stirred for one hour at -40 C. The mixture is poured into 1 liter of aqueous hydrochloric acid N. It is extracted with isopropyl ether, washed with water, dried and evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure.
