Description

Continuous mixing machines, especially for materials

  granulated or powdered plastics, for two

  horizontal rotors and fed by means of hoppers

  These rotors consist of a first reduced pitch screw section and a second pitch section

  The first screw section is mainly used to achieve the thrust to supply material with the

  second section, which essentially performs the

  mix and homogenize the basic components and additives.

  With these machines, delicate problems arise when it is necessary to mix materials for which it is essential to limit the temperature level, such as, for

  example, in the case of rubber powder which,

  beyond a certain temperature, undergoes a vulcanization process. A known solution given to this problem consists in treating the materials in two separate machines, provided to perform the work in two successive phases: by
