Abstract

The clamp comprises a tube with a threaded bore. An inclined hole is formed through the side of the tube into the bore, to form the upper conical surface. A screwed plug (6) with a conical leading end (7) screws into the tubular component. The cable is introduced into the clamp through the end and is threaded through the inclined side opening. When the plug (6), forming the lower conical surface, is tightened, the cable is clamped.
