Abstract

The device for picking up dog litter etc. from pavements comprises a housing supported on wheels which is manoeuvred by a handle. The housing contains one or more rotating blades having shaped ends which scoop up the waste material and discharge it into a removable bag. The lower part of the housing pref. forms a ramp which contacts the pavement when in use. The housing pref. carries reservoirs containing e.g. sawdust and disinfectant which is released through outlets.
