Abstract

The board game uses a board that is like a chess board but has bands of colour marked on it. Some of these are separated by white squares. Pieces are moved by following fixed colours or moving in a straight or diagonal line. Each player has 5 pieces and these are placed on white squares at the start. The opponents pieces can be taken and zones can be blocked when a piece is put on a coloured band. The aim is to cross the board or to produce a stale-mate.

Description

Principle: These are checkers crossed by bands of more or less complex colors, separated by neutral "white" boxes (Fig. 1, 2, 3).

4, 5). Some of these bands may not be separated by neutral boxes (fig. 4, 5).

There are pawns there whose simple walk in principle allows many possibilities.

The walk is based
the On a number of colors to go through.

2. On a straight or diagonal step of your choice.

On these principles of walking possible complications can be added. As an example of walking diagonally on two colors according to the attached game rule (see Fig. 6).

It follows from the mode of operation and the structure of the checkerboard that the possibility of "taking" a plon is not always reciprocal.

Blocking: On the other hand, the axis of colored bands favors the creation of blocking zones, for example all the adjacent boxes of the color on which a pawn is placed.

Goal: Different orientations can be proposed as the goal of the game:
- cross the checkerboard
- immobilization or "pat" of the pawn
- existence of a "king" to protect
One of the possibilities, mentioned above, is fully developed in the "rule" below which clearly shows the use of the claimed invention.

For example, detailed rule of a game on a restricted checkerboard, principle: it is a checkerboard traversed by bands of several colors separated by neutral boxes Plons using an original movement system must cross the played as quickly as possible, they can eventually capture opposing pawns.

Handling of pawns e The pawns are placed at the edge of the game on neutral white cards. In the simplified version, each player has five pawns on a checkerboard with nine side squares.

To advance a pawn, the player chooses, step by step, either walking diagonally, or walking in a straight line, and this year all together.

These two displacement systems can never interfere. Once you have chosen one of the movement modes described above, the pawn must move in two colors, the pawn can go through all the available spaces of the first color or use only a part of it, then it must change color and stop on the first available square of the second color. The white spaces during these movements serve only as neutral passages, it is forbidden to stop there or make a change of direction, it follows that a space is considered to be contiguous with any other space of which it is separated by one or more white boxes.

It should also be noted that a pawn can never jump over another pawn.

Blocking: A pawn located on a right colored strip prevents the passage of an opposing pawn on this strip (but not on squares of the same color which may be contiguous to the right or left), however, if the opponent poses also a pawn on this strip, at the rear is sheltered from this pawn, the crossing can be carried out.

Taking: A pawn can be taken if his opponent ends up in the square he occupies, it should be noted that this faculty is not always very close, it is one of the originalities and difficulties of this game.

Pat: A pawn can also be taken when it is "pat", that is to say when any movement is prohibited.

Premier pion rentré : 21 points, chaque pion rentre ; 20 points, pions restants : 5 points.
End of the game: The game ends when a player has taken in all the pieces available to him. The points are counted in this way
First pawn returned: 21 points, each pawn returned; 20 points, remaining pawns: 5 points.

Main features of the game
The execution principles are easy to learn as in checkers.

The colored bands allow a dynamic vision of the checkerboard or concretely draw lines of attractive forces.

So the game is far from being as abstract as checkers or "go". It is closer to failures, although it is easier to handle.

On a small checkerboard, the parties can reach rapid conclusions, but moreover blockages and the non-reciprocity of threats create perfectly original and complex problems.
