Abstract

The device comprises a cage which contains at least one pair of housing members, each of which contains a permanent magnet. The housing members are such that the magnets forming each pair are held close to each other. The magnets of each pair are placed such that their adjacent magnetic poles are identical in order to create reciprocal repelling forces. The cage is made in a non-ferrous material, e.g. copper. The device can be fitted inside a cushion, mattress, garment, girdle etc., and can be inserted between padding material.
